Vinalhaven — The Knox County Sheriff's Office has arrested two teenage suspects in connection with the theft of $200,000 in cash from a Vinalhaven home.

Jacob Mondello, 19, of South Thomaston and Vincent Hilt, 19, of St. George were arrested April 15 for the theft and taken to the Knox County Jail, said Sheriff Donna Dennison.

Detective Don Murray and Deputy Rob Potter investigated the case, which was first called in to police April 13.

A door to the house was unlocked, said police.
