Ashwood Waldorf School, one of four Waldorf schools in Maine, has about 100 students in its Parent/Child programs, mixed-age kindergartens and first through eighth grades. The School operates on 32 acres of fields and woods overlooking the Camden Hills in Rockport. Ashwood has a staff of twenty full- and part-time employees and gained accreditation with the New England Association of Schools and Colleges in the Fall of 2002. Ashwood has been educating the head, the heart, and the hands of students in midcoast Maine for 25 years, enrolling children from Waldoboro to Belfast and beyond.
