Nativity’s celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ begins on Christmas Eve with special Christmas music performed by Charles Brown, organist, at 6:15 p.m. Nativity’s Christmas Eve Candlelight Service follows at 7:00 p.m. The celebration continues Christmas with a Festival of Lessons and Carols and Holy Communion at 10:30 a.m. Nativity had its beginnings in what was previously a milking shed on the Gregory Rich farm in Rockport. The congregation chose its name based on St. Luke’s Christmas story, Luke 2:7.
