Love is a Four-Legged Word, Find it at the Humane Society of Knox County
Have you been looking for love in all the wrong places? The Humane Society of Knox County invites the public to adopt their own "Furry Valentine" in a special Valentine's Day promotion starting Friday, February 10 and running through Saturday, February 18th. The shelter is promoting adoption with a sweetheart of a deal with its "Be Mine, My Furry Valentine" event where the adoption fee for all cats aged six months or older will be discounted. How much? That depends on the valentine card you draw from our special valentine box but it will be no more than $25 ( that's 50% off of our regular adoption fee) or it might be $20, $15, $10, $5 or even a few lucky free adoption cards.
The adoption fee covers age appropriate vaccinations, a free visit to a local veterinary office, feline leukemia/FIV testing, de-worming, flea treatment and spay/neuter surgery. HSKC has nearly 100 cats currently in residence that need homes. Now is the time to find a purrfect valentine. Love is a 4-Legged word and you can find it at the Humane Society of Knox County. HSKC is located at 17 Buttermilk Lane in Thomaston. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 11-5 closed on Sundays.
