According to their website (http://rockcoastrollers.weebly.com, the Rock Coast Rollers is a diverse group of women dedicated to advancing and advocating for the sport of roller derby, women, it's league and community. Rock Coast Rollers aim to be a skater-owned, not for profit business under WFTDA (Women's Flat Track Derby Association), based in Rockland, Maine.  The team consists of writers and mothers, marketers and teachers, students and gardeners, sailors and bakers. They are women from all walks of life and of all ages,with one thing in common––they live, love, and breathe derby.
