Let it Snow!

Boothbay Harbor, Maine —

Southern Mid Coast Maine is gorgeous in Winter's blanket of white.   I've been in Boothbay Harbor during the last week when it snowed.





These are some of the fabulous views from the top deck of the Welch House Inn.




Lobster boats still go out on days when the weather is calm.  It's cold though!

JFK thought it was so pretty that he commissioned it to be lit at night and set up the financial means to keep it lit.


Driving around, there are so many gorgeous spots in Boothbay Harbor to see.  Most tourists are gone, but they should reconsider visiting this time of year.  The tranquility and peace is wonderful.



For an Atlanta/Charleston gal, I'm really enjoying my first White Christmas.   Next stop:  Bath and the Maine Maritime Museum.
